Henri-Louis Pernod , born with the Locle in 1776 and deceased in 1851, is a distiller Suisse who propagated the consumption of alcoholic drink wormwood. Its company was integrated in 1975 in the group Pernod-Ricard

Biography

Wire d´un local home distiller, it takes part in l´ouverture of the first factory d´absinthe created with Couvet by Daniel Henri Dubied with his Marcellin son under the name of Dubied Père and Fils (it will be taken again later by Fritz Duval, a cousin of Dubied).

Henri-Louis Pernod takes then his distances with his beautiful father and quickly assembles his own distilling called Pernod Fils . In 1805, it opens of it a news with Pontarlier, to answer at the request of the French market.
