Henri-Emmanuel de Roquette
Henri-Emmanuel de Roquette (v. 1655 - March 4th 1725) is a French man of the church.
Doctor in Sorbonne and preacher, he is abbot of the abbey of Saint-Gildas-with-Rhuys in 1681 and frequent with Paris the living room of the marchioness of Lambert. He pronounces in 1702 the funeral oration of Jacques II of England and he is secretary of the General meeting of the clergy from France held in Paris in 1705. He is elected member of the French Academy in 1720.
