Hen fox viper
Poule fox viper is a collective Jeu, generally practiced in outside. Usual play of the course of recreation, starting from the elementary school, it is generally organized by the professors of EPS but is also formed part of “traditional” of animation.
The principle is the following: one organizes the participants in three teams, the foxes, hens and the vipers. The goal of the foxes is to catch hens, that of hens to eat the vipers and the vipers must catch the foxes. That means that each team has at the same time a prey and a predator.
The foxes often carry scarves or red or orange numbers, the hens are blue or yellow and the vipers are generally equipped with green
This play is known to belong to the paradoxical plays: “More I gain, more I lose”. Indeed, let us suppose that I belong to the foxes. By supposing that my team dominates the part, the number of players of the team of hens falls. This involves the increase in the number of the vipers, and consequently, the part becomes more difficult for the foxes.
A balance is established thus which can lead to parts “without end” or by the use of “pacts” (“you protect me and me I do not catch you”). In this case, it can be useful to a moment given “to break the pact”, to gain the part.
As soon as somebody is caught, he becomes prisoner and goes in the opposing side. He can be made deliver by a free player who types to him in the hand. When there are several prisoners, they can form a chain, provided that the last still has a foot in the opposing side. When the first is made type in the hand, all the chain is delivered.
