Helwingiaceae

The family of the Helwingiacées is a family of plants Dicotylédone S which includes/understands 2-5 Espèce S of the kind Helwingia .

They are shrubs, with alternate sheets, the small inflorescences épiphylles, moderated areas, originating in the east of the Asia: China, Taiwan, Japan.

The phylogenetic classification APG II (2003) locates it in the order of the Aquifoliales .

This family does not exist in traditional classification of Cronquist (1981): classically this kind is assigned with the Cornacées.
