Heinrich V von Mecklenburg-Schwerin

Heinrich V , the Pacific , (May 3rd 1479 - February 6th 1552) was Duc of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, it was the son of the Duke Magnus II.

Heinrich reigned with his/her brothers Erich II and Albrecht VII and its uncle Balthasar since December 27th 1503. The last mourrut on March 16th 1507 and Erich on December 22nd 1508, both without heir, thus Heinrich and Albrecht found only owners of the country. Both controlled together, first of all, although Albrecht asserted its own territory on several occasions, which was carried out on December 22nd 1534, Heinrich reigned on the Schwerin and Albrecht on the Güstrow, without an official division of the territories being operated.

Marriages

Heinrich Maria three times. Initially on December 12th 1505 with Ursula, girl of the Prince-voter Jean Ier Cicéron de Brandebourg, born on October 17th, 1488, deceased on September 18th, 1510.

June 12th 1513, it marries Helene, girl of the Prince-voter Philippe Ier of Palatinat, born in 1493, deceased on August 4th 1524. Then, he married then, on May 14th 1551, Ursula, girl of the Duke Magnus zu Sachsen-Lauenburg, who mourrut with Minden in 1565.
