Heinrich Campendonk

Heinrich Campendonk (Krefeld, Germany, 1889 - Amsterdam, Netherlands, 1957) is a painter, engraver and draftsman of German Vitrail attached to the Expressionnisme, member for a time (of 1911 with 1912) of the artistic movement Munich ois Der Blaue Reiter.

Driven out by the Nazis as of 1934 and declared " degenerated artist " in 1937, Campendonk takes refuge in the Netherlands where it finishes its life without never turning over to Germany.
