Aliens the return ( Aliens ) is a film américano-British carried out by James Cameron, left in 1986. It is the second film of the saga Alien.
Synopsis
After having derived 57 years in space, Ellen Ripley is repatriated on a space station. The company Weyland Yutani which then employed it the sum to explain the loss of the cargo and the crew of the Nostromo . She then tells her fight against an extraterrestrial entity, but nobody believes it: indeed planet LV-426 from where according to it the " came; chose" colonized has been for several years and a community lives there in all quietude. Ripley thus is degraded and returned to the civil life.But well quickly its lawyer recontacts it: one lost any connection with the colonists and a battalion of Navy colonial will be sent to inquire. He asks him to accompany them. Ripley hesitates, but being seen promising that the creature would be " détruite" and not " étudiée" and that its license of one-way flight to be to him restored, it agrees to leave… Arriving on planet with the Navy, all the colony remains untraceable. Worse of all, the shuttle which was to accompany back Ripley and the Navy on board their vessel crushes. They are blocked on planet and discover whereas this one became the den of Aliens. A fierce combat then will start between the small group of human and their wild enemies…

Around film
- There exists a long version of the film (but which does not constitute to in no case Director' S cut) left only in video, and which adds a few 15 minutes of additional scenes. It is discovered there in particular that Ripley had a girl who died of old age while it derived in the space, and how Aliens invaded the colony.
- a scene showing Burke imprisoned in a cocoon by Aliens, and Ripley giving him a grenade to commit suicide, was turned but does not appear in any version of film.
- Between the moment when Bishop announces that there remain 15 minutes before the explosion of the atmospheric processor, and this one, he runs out really 15 minutes in film.
- the first director of the photography, Dick Bush, was replaced in the middle of turning by Adrian Biddle, following a “creative disagreement” the opponent with James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd.
- the harnesses on which are fixed the Smart guns soldiers Drake and Vasquez are in fact of the harnesses of modified Steadicam.
- Except for Corporal Dwayne Hicks, the marine first names of all the space are the same ones as those of the actors who interpret them.

- Extremely inspired of the novel of Robert A. Heinlein, Stars, attention!, James Cameron made read with the various main characters the book before the beginning of turning.
- the final scene which sees the confrontation between the queen Alien and Ripley is parodied in the play vidéeo " Conker' S bad fur day". And this, until the famous sentence " Get away from her, you bitch! "
