The Heinkel He 280 is a Fighter plan of the Second world war.
History
The end of the year 1939, Heinkel carried out the development of two Turboréacteur S, HeS 3 (109-006), of which the creator, max Mueller, came from in Junkers, and HeS 8 (109-001), conceived by von Ohain. The first prototype of Heinkel He 280, plane twin-jet aircraft, bidérive, with median wing and three-wheeled Gear landing, being ready good before the engines in questions, the apparatus was initially tested in planed flight. Then it took the air for the first time with two engines HeS 8 in 1941. The development of HeS 3, however promising, having been stopped, the Germans directed for various reasons towards the production of Me 262, with longer operating range and more heavily armed, the prototypes of He 280 still in a position to fly were used at experimental ends.
