Origin

Child, Guido Carosella was a clown, but it was not most popular of its college. One day, it tried to go to speak with a girl whom it loved in secrecy, but was attacked by the boyfriend of the latter. He flees and fell in front of the school bus which struck it full whip. That awoke at his place its change, and deformed its physical shape (because he did not know yet the limit of its capacity).

His/her parents were killed thereafter by the fall of a satellite, and he inherited a small fortune.

But of bad investments left it ruined. It was then engaged as bodyguard for Lila Cheney, the intergalactic rockstar, and it met X-Men, as Dazzler of which he became the friend.

Had mentally by the King of shade, it was found on the island of Muir with Cyrène, Polaris and Jamie Madrox, all under the malefic cut of the mutant. They were released by X-Men returned of space.

Guido, Polaris and Jamie were recruited by Valerie Cooper within the any mutant news Cabinet, Factor-X. They were joined by Havok, Félina and Vif-Argent. It took Malabar code name.

Soon, the team faced the Nasty Boys. During a combat against Slab, Guido destroyed the monument of Washington. Humiliated, he thought of leaving, but took finally his revenge on Slab.

He faced then with difficulty Hulk, F.L.M., Cyber and the Hell' S Belles. He fought also the Confrérie of the Bad Mutants which sought to recruit refugees of Génosha.

He also took part with his team in the search of Stryfe, at the time of the Chant of the Torturer .

After a combat against the Assistants, he 'was kidnapped 'by Lila Cheny which wanted to engage it of force for an intergalactic round, but Guido declined the offer, preferring to remain with his/her comrades.

It accompanied then Félina on the island by Muir, where the mutant young person wanted déconditionner mentally treatment received when she was slave in Génosha.

Disturbed by the “death” of his friend Jamie Madrox, it took holidays with Féina and turned over to see its family with Rhinebeck. He discovered that he had become an idol of the population, that he had a fan-club and he found even his young love, Mary. He acknowledged his love to him but the latter got rid of it, frightened by its body. It did not have time to be sad, because it had to find Factor-X in Hawaii urgently, where Havok and Polaris had been attacked by the Nasty Boys, then it fought against Phalanx.

Later, at the time of a concert of Lila, it had to face the Colosse. In the attack, it fell and was struck by a plane. It made a cardic faintness, but succeeds in capturing the super criminal.

Later, wanting to protect lila from an attack alien, it absorbed too much energy and made an infarction. It finished at the hospital of Washington, in the coma.

After several months of convalescence, it awoke and learned that Madrox was quite alive. Forge equipped it with a special pacemaker, allowing him to use its capacities.

It later was found, fighter in the arenas of combat with Masato Koga.

It is part from now on of the agency of investigation launched by Jamie Madrox.

Capacities

Since the appearance of its capacities, badly channeled, Guido knows atrocious permanent body pains.
Guido absorbs kinetic energy to increase its mass and its force. It must discharge this energy in the 90 seconds or its body will become deformed even more.
Thanks to the first impact when it was young and that it did not discharge in time, the deformed body of Guido (more 300kg) can raise 50 tons. It can increase this weight by taking some blows enough powerful to activate its mutant capacity.
Guido is equipped with a cardiac apparatus which enables him to use its capacity san to risk an heart attack.
Guido is short-sighted but it is a very good brawler.
It is also a musician and a very gifted actor.
