Hedwige of Saxony
Hedwige of Saxony , or Hatua or Avoia, (v. 910 or 922 - † 959 or the May 10th 965), girl of Henri Ier of Saxony, king de Germanie and of his second wife Mathilde, girl of the count Théodoric de Rheingelheim.
She is the sister of Otton Ier, emperor of the Saint Germanic Roman Empire, of the duke Henri Ier of Bavaria, of the archbishop Brunon of Cologne and Gerberge of Saxony, wife of Louis IV of Overseas.
In 938, she marries Hugues Large the, (897 - † 956), marquis of Neustrie and Duc of the Francs.
