Hedayat Arsala Amine
Hedayat Amine Arsala (born the January 12th 1942 with Kabul -) is an Afghan politician pertaining to the ethnos group Pachtoune, principal adviser of the president Hamid Karzai, of which he is a close relation, who occupies moreover, since December 2004 the post of minister commercial, in the current Afghan government.
Biography
August 1st Hedayat Arsala, a Pachtoune going down from the tribe Jabar Khel grows with Kabul and begins its studies there before going to the the United States, where it obtains a doctorate in economy with the George Washington University.Between 1969 and 1987, it occupies various post offices with the the World Bank, which it leaves to return in Afghanistan and to join the Afghan resistance, which fights against the Soviet occupation .
Hedayat Arsala, considered as moderate, was one of the four vice-presidents of the transition government which directed the Afghanistan of the December 22nd 2001 to the December 7th 2004.
In 2006, its candidature to succeed Kofi Annan for the station of General secretary of UNO was proposed by the Afghan government.
