Hector Roland
Hector Roland is a Politician French born on December 25th 1911 with Neuilly-sur-Seine and deceased on March 7th 1995 with Avermes (Allier).
Deputy Gaulliste To combine it of 1968 to 1981 then of 1986 to 1988 and Mayor of Mills of 1971 to 1989. Its outspokenness, a rocky accent betraying an education with the countryside and the practice to read poems of its vintage at the meetings at the assembly, made this autodidact a picturesque figure of the Fifth Republic. It was called Spartacus.
Abandoned child, it was the first to be proposed in 1978 a law mentioning, for the first time and the only pupils of the State, the right to know their origins. He was not followed and its text was never subjected to the vote.
More discussed is the combat than it carried out against the right to the Avortement. At the time of the debate on the Law Veil of 1974 instituting this one, it was particularly virulent, going even until evoking " the choice of a génocide" , formula which all the more shocked that Simone Veil was an survivor of the Concentration camps. In the same way, in 1986 it tried to create, with the deputy UDF Christine Boutin and the deputy National front Michel de Rostolan, a “parliamentary group of study to support the reception with the life”, in vain, because creation was not authorized by the National Assembly.
