Hebat

Hebat is a goddess hourrite, Parèdre of the large god of the Storm Teshub.

She is identified with the goddess-sun of Arinna in country hittite. Its animal is the lion, like the goddess mésopotamienne Inanna/Ishtar. Of its union with Teshub, it had a son, Sharruma. One finds it at the beginning of the first millenium in Urartu under the name of Huba, and with the hellenistic time in certain areas of Anatolia where it is called Hipta.
