Hearts flarings

Cœurs flarings ( Morocco ) is an American film carried out by Josef von Sternberg, left in 1930. Second film for the couple Marlene Dietrich/Josef von Sternberg after the blue Angel.

Synopsis

The singer of cabaret Amy Jolly arrives at Morocco and occurs in a cabaret of Mogador where she notices the beautiful Tom Brown legionary (and reciprocally), while the richissime Bessière entiche of her. But the duty and the resentment of its adjudant (of which it allured the woman) send Brown in the village. Amy then decides to answer the offer of marriage of Bessière.

During a fixing, the adjudant of Brown is killed and this last was wounded. The news arrives at Mogador during the dinner of engagement: Amy leaves the table and course to join Brown, in company besides of Bessière which, very obliging, takes it along with its car.

Amy Jolly finds Brown not at the hospital but with the bar: the valiant legionary was not wounded, it made only pretense be it not to return in Mogador. The following day it must set out again some share in the Sahara. Having noticed that indigenous women follow in these steps the unit where their man is useful, Amy Jolly, plating Bessière, follows them and is inserted with them in the desert.
