Hearth (housing)
Historically, fire is the central point of a dwelling, insofar as it gets the Chaleur and makes it possible to make the Cuisine. The hearth indicates here by Métonymie family housing.
In Archeology, to find the traces of a hearth generally allows to determine number of information on the habitat and the practices of the people living in a given place, according to its size, of its position in space compared to the limits of the habitat and of its seniority (measured according to the depth to which he is discovered or with the Carbon-14).
