Health-environment

Health-Environment is an expression appeared at the end of the 20th century, indicating for the French-speaking people the field common to the environmental questions and of Santé.

The French ministry of Health drew a first assessment at 2 years, in July 2006, National plan Health Environment (PNSE). Announced by the President of the Republic in January 2003 and worked out under the authority of the ministers in charge for Health, Ecology, Work and Research, the PNSE on June 21st, 2004 for five years was adopted.

According to the government, the PNSE falls under the orientations of the Charter of the environment and in the European strategy of the the World Health Organization, reaffirmed at the time of the conferences of London in 1999 and Budapest in 2004.

In Switzerland, the Action plan environment and health (PAES) lasted ten years and finish at the end of 2007 without a continuation being envisaged.
