Headlight of the Bracket

The headlight of the Bracket was built in 1874 in the south-east of the Port of Sand-in Olonne, the Vendée.

It forms an alignment with the fire of the Embankment located on the walk at the seaside, allowing the entry of the channel by avoiding the shallow waters, Nouch and Noura .

Current headlight

It is a house-headlight in smooth stone masonry with crowning and apparent stone angles.

The square tower surmounts a house which shelters the offices of the Subdivision of the Service of the headlights and beacons of the Sand-with Olonne.

It is automated since 1965 and does not visit itself.
