Headlight of Bodic
the Phare of Bodic is located along the estuary of the Trieux on the common Frenchwoman of Lézardrieux. Built on the plate in full field, the lantern is perched with 48,90 meters above the sea.
The current building is a project presented by the architect and engineers Condemine and Grattesat, approved by decree of the March 24th 1947.
It replaces a headlight lit the October 15th 1867 and destroyed by the troops of occupation during the Second world war.
Construction
The cylindrical tower in masonry consists of smooth stones, it is coupled with a trapezoidal wall of frontage in smooth masonry with chains of angle in apparent stone masonry. The ground has a surface of 1 363 m ².
