Head of poster

Initially with the Theater, then with the Cinema and even for the concerts of Rock'n'roll, one calls head of poster the principal personality of a demonstration including/understanding several actors or singers.

The “head” is the name of the Distribution placed more “in top of the poster”, the first which the passer by thus will have tendency to read. There always exists on certain posters, mainly with the Light comedies, a differentiation of the place of the name of the actors (before or after the title, framed or not) according to their degree of notoriety.
