He was once a cop is a French film carried out by Georges Lautner, left in 1971.
Synopsis
In 1971 with Nice a trafficker of Drogue is killed. The police force finds a letter for his/her brother with Tunis inviting it to come to settle on the Riviera with its family. An inspector replaces it to infiltrate the illegal organization but its mission is complicated by the obligation to be accompanied by an young woman and a 9 year old child and which it has of the colleagues of repression who interfere.
