Hayley Wickenheiser

Hayley Wickenheiser (born the August 12th 1978 with Shaunavon in the Saskatchewan) is a player of Hockey Canadian, member of the team of Canada of female hockey. It is the cousin of late the Doug Wickenheiser.

Career

In January 2003, it became the first woman to mark a not with professional hockey when it joined HC Salamat Kirkkonummi in the league Suomi-sarja of Finland (the third division). She played 23 matches for Salamat and recorded two goals and ten master keys, in addition to having the best percentage of effectiveness at the time of the settings to the play of the league.

She was member of the team of Hockey which gained the money medal to the Winter Olympics of 1998 with Nagano, the gold medal with the Winter Olympics of 2002 with Salt Lake City and with the Winter Olympics of 2006 with Turin.

Since 2006, it is the captain of the team of Canada of female hockey.

Achieved athlete, it took also share with the competitions of female Softball of the Olympic Games of Sydney in 2000
