Hayate No gotoku!

Hayate No gotoku! (ja ハヤテのごとく!) is a series Manga Japan ease of Kenjiro Hata. It follows a boy who starts to work like Majordome and tells his adventures. One has just published to it twelfth volume in Japan. The version in English language is published by Viz Media and will be distributed in North America.

The manga is kind harem and constantly breaks the Fourth wall. It often refers to others manga as with Anime S, of the video games and popular culture.

An adaptation animates some is diffused since April 1st, 2007 to Japan on the chain TV Tokyo.

Weave

Hayate Ayasaki is known like the fastest deliveryman, but its employer lays off it after having learned, the Christmas day before, who he is minor. Turning over at his place, Hayate learns that his/her parents, very irresponsible, received its wages of: 170000 Yen and that they had very wasted in houses of play, leaving him only 12 yen. They also must: 156804000 yen with a Yakuza; they try to pay it while trying to sell the bodies of Hayate like Christmas presents.

Having been able to escape, Hayate decides to kidnap an young girl called Nagi Sanzen' in for the reward, but fails by giving its true name. Moreover, its hostage takes his request so that it follows it like a declaration of love. Later, when Hayate lengthens and waits to die of cold, one drives to him above bicycle; it is Maria, who seeks Nagi. Hayate immediately falls in love with it, but he lies to him by saying that he does not know Nagi. The moral one of Hayate goes up when Maria gives him a scarf; astonished by its generosity, later it saves Nagi when this one is kidnapped by two brothers in debt with same the yakuza as Hayate. Nagi says to him that it is grateful to him; Hayate requires of him to find work to him before collapsing of tiredness and its wounds. All this history explains why Hayate is the new majordomo of Nagi. It must protect it while doing its work from majordomo with Maria, who is the good one of Nagi.

Hayate is 16 years old and had to work since the 8 years age because his/her parents are irresponsible. One laid off it of his work as deliveryman because he is minor. His/her father is unemployed and his mother tear with the play, which ruins them. They give up Hayate, trying to sell its bodies with a yakuza with which they must of the money. Despaired, Hayate kidnaps a girl for the reward, but following a misunderstanding, she believes that it is in love with her then it becomes her majordomo.

the other characters often say that Hayate to the poor and poor air. He believes that everyone hates it except the children, but he thinks of those only like friends. Hayate sees Nagi as a little sister who must be supervised and is secretly in love with Maria. It can play of the violin. Hayate is really one majordomo of combat , very extremely by pushing back attacks.

Nagi, thirteen years, is the single heiress of Sanzen' in. She is a real tomboy; its hobby is the manga and animates it, and it draws its clean manga. She is good in economy and likes to learn. She is in love with Hayate, and since to have known it she thinks that it is reciprocal. His/her only alive relative is his grandfather, whom she does not love. She sees Maria like a mother or older sister and known as has Hayate not to touch it in an indecent way . Nagi is afraid of the black and is known to be a disaster while cooking, coming very close to death.

Maria, seventeen years, sest the good one of Nagi and the older sister/mother that this one forever have. She is most rational of the characters and the only one who includes/understands the problems between Hayate and Nagi. She appears to be the chief of being useful at Nagi, because everyone, included there the chief-majordomo, fears it or obeys it (or both). She is strong to do the housework and adores any kind of plays. She has a phobia of the Cafard S, which she calls these dark creatures which exist in the kitchen and elsewhere .

It does not have a Family name because it, is found orphan in a church beside the statue of the Virgin Mary, in honor of which it was named. One celebrates his birthday on December 24th, the birthday of the day when it was found. She saw naked Hayate several times, and sees the effect which it has on the other girls, of which several which is in love with him, but does not know if she is in love with him because she has little experiment in love. Maria is famous to have finished the college in three years at the thirteen years age, while being president of the council of the students.

Manga

Hayate No gotoku was adapted in serial for the first time in the magazine manga Shōnen Sunday in May 2004. He is written and illustrated by Kenjiro Hata. The anglophone translation is of Yuki Yoshioka and H. Yamaguchi, and its anglophone adaptation of Giambruno Mark.

Animate

The first episode of animates Hayate No gotoku was diffused by TV Tokyo on April 1st, 2007. It is produced by the studio of animation SynergySP and contains musics of Kôtarô Nakagawa.

Like consequence to be diffused by TV Tokyo, animates it saw several censured or changed details. Examples: the addiction with the play of the mother of Hayate is called to invest in its dream , and Hayate is given to nice men to work and not with a yakuza for its bodies (but this is mentioned at least once). Characters refer sometimes to the fact that they cannot all show, and that they fight against the censure . Certain examples of censure are humorous: once, one sees the blood of Hayate covered with a saying message we cannot show that . Animates, like the manga, mentions others mangas and covers certain swearwords of a beep . This is continued in the anglophone version of the manga. The DVD contains the audio original and the audio not censured.

The audience can see the characters breaking the Fourth wall. Those which do not break it think that the others are speaking with themselves. The narrator speaks sometimes with Hayate; he thus realizes that there is an audience. Moreover, certain characters do not speak with anybody except the audience.

Before and after the pauses for publicities, there is a in [[eyecatch]] different each time. The characters say a word to it to continue a play of ja [[shiritori]] . Since the sixth episode there are scenes, called in Butler Network , which appear after the appropriations. One sees there Hayate, Nagi and sometimes a guest. Butler Network covers the production of animation, the dates of diffusions, fact of the advertizing for albums of the music of the emission and DVD, and follows the adventures of Hayate which fights against the evil and becomes a large majordomo.

Light Novell

The Light Novell based on the series is written by Toshihiko Tsukiji and is illustrated by Kenjiro Hota. It was published on May 24th, 2007 by Shogagukan under their label GAGAGA Bunko .

Audio CD

The song of the credits of beginning, Hayate No gotoku! , sung by KOTOKO, left on May 23rd, 2007. The preceding song of the credits of beginning is Proof , of Mell, left on May 30th, 2007. The second song of the credits of end, in Get My Way! , is sung by Mami Kawada and left on August 8th, 2007. The second song of the credits of beginning, Shichiten Battō ☆ Shijōshuji! , KOTOKO, will leave on October 17th, 2007, the another on November 21st, 2007 (with the voices of Marina Inoue Mikako Takahashi and Saki Nakajima). January 25th, 2008 will leave the album with the voices Hitomi Nabatame, Sayuri Yahagi, Eri Nakao, and Masumi Asano.

The Original soundtrack left on June 22nd, 2007, a Drama CD on August 22nd, and an album of two CD called Radio the Combat Butler on September 21st, 2007.

Video game

A video game produced by Konami for the Nintendo DS left to Japan on August 23rd, 2007. It is called ja Hayate No Gotoku! Boku ga Romeo of Romeo ga Boku of (ja ハヤテのごとく! ボクがロミオでロミオがボクで; in French Hayate the majordomo of combat! I am Romeo and Romeo is me! ).
