Havilah

Havilah is the title of a country mentioned in the second chapter of the biblical book of the Genèse. According to the latter, one finds there gold of the Bdellium and Onyx (Genesis 2-12) hones it יבוזהבהארץההואטובשםהבדלחואבןהשהם

There exist other orthographies for this word: Havila , Havvilah , Hawila

There were many assumptions on the localization of the ground of Havilah. Most probable, is that it would be about the " gold Pontic" field; , country of Colchos, a province of Asia, close to the country of Bridge. This field is also probably one of the sites of the mythology where Jason and the Argonautes sought the Golden Fleece. Indeed, the history speaks about the minors of the alluvia which used the fleeces of sheep to catch gold in their lock S rough.

Another assumption is that Havilah is the North-West of the Yemen.
