Hauteville

Hauteville is a common French, located in the department of the Yvelines and the area Île-de-France.

Its inhabitants is called the Hautevillois .

Geography

The commune of Hauteville is located in the south-west of the department, in the western end of the main forest of Rambouillet. The commune, so is very raised.

It is, by the road, with approximately 46 kilometers with the west-south-west of Versailles and with approximately 37 kilometers in the south of Mantes-the-Pretty, the chief town of district. Houdan, chief town of canton, is with 13 kilometers with north and Rambouillet with 20 kilometers with the east-south-east.

In addition to the borough, the habitat is distributed in two hamlets, that of almost coupled Hargeville to the borough and that of the Virginal in south-west.

The communes bordering are Adainville in the North-East, the Boissière-School of the east in the south-south-east, the Tartar-Gaudran in south-west and Grandchamp in the North-West.
