Haunt or Haunts

The Haunt or Hante is a Franco-Belgian river belonging to the Bassin pouring of the Meuse which occurs in Belgium, crosses the end is department of the Northern and turns over in its country of origin where it joins in the Sambre, in Labuissière, commune of Merbes-the-Castle. Its average slope is of 3,6 ‰. its Area catchment in France east of 15 km ².

The river sprinkles the town of Beaumont in Province of Hainaut, and is crossed with Montignies-Saint-Christophe by superb a Romance Pont , called Pont Romain commonly.

Flow

The medium flow of the river measured with Labuissière, in Belgium, between 1992 and 2001 is of 1,8 m ³ a second. During the same period one recorded:

  • a maximum average annual flow of 2,6 m ³ in 2001.
  • a minimal average annual flow of 1,0 in 1996.
