Haugesund

Haugesund is a port city on the west coast of the Norway between Stavanger and Bergen.

The city

Haugesund gives on the the North Sea but mainly faced the island of Karmøy of which it is separated by an arm of the sea the Karmsund. In spite of its small size, the economic activity (oil and fishing) explains the presence of many bars and restaurants. They make city an important center of attraction of the area.
