Championship of France

The totality of: 51880 French teams are divided into nine divisions. The first division is called Championnat, and there does not exist that only one hen has this level. The diagram of distribution of the quantities of teams relative to the value of division is the following one:

The best teams of a league qualify office for the Cut. The number of qualified teams vary from 128 to 32.768 according to the size of the league. This classification remains unchanged throughout all Cut, which means for example that the winner of the Championship the former season is always the head of series number 1 (until its elimination), whatever its classification for the season in progress.

Note: The team which plays in residence perceives 2/3 of the incomes related to the match, while the visitor team receives 1/3. This applies to all the matches of Cut, except for the semi-finals and the final whose incomes will be divided with equal shares between the teams (50/50). It is clear that when a team of division V accommodates a team of Championship, its supporters is justified. However, those of the team of Championship are not it necessarily and the multitude in the matches of the first turns is not necessarily important. On the other hand, progressively of the advance of the Cut, passions break out and the stages fill! A team which makes a good course of Cut can then earn much money!

the winner of the Cut receives a premium of 800.000 €, the other finalist receives 400.000 € and the teams overcome in semi-final receive each one 200.000 €. The teams overcome in quarterfinal will receive each one a premium of 100.000 €, those overcome in eighth of finale will receive each one a premium of 50.000 €. However, the financial interest is mainly related to the incomes drawn from the tickets sold for the matches.

All the matches of Cut which see the teams with equality at the end of regulatory time go to the prolongations and, if that is not sufficient, there is a meeting of shootings to the goal.
