Hassan Salameh

Hassan Salameh was born in Qula, close to Lydda and died in the battle of Short-nap cloth Al-Ein on June 2nd, 1948. During the Israeli-Arab War of 1948, it was one of the commanders of the Jihad Al-Muqadas at the sides of Abdel Kader Husseini. He was also an influential member of the Palestinian Arab Parti.

With the congress of the the Arab League of February 5th, 1948, one allotted to him the strategic sector of Lydda, with the entry of the road Tel-Aviv - Jerusalem.

He is the father of Ali Hassan Salameh.
