Hassan Ali Mansour
Hassan Ali Mansur حسنعلیمنصور is a politician Iran IEN born with Teheran in 1923 and dead assassinated in the same city the January 27th 1965.
Education
Hassan Ali Mansour is the son of Ali Mansour (Mansour-Al-Molk), him also Prime Minister. It follows its schooling to the Firuz-Bahrām college to Teheran then takes courses of right to the Université of Teheran, from which it is graduate in political sciences after the Second world war.
Beginnings of its public career
During the time which follows the second world war, the Mansour young person begins his political career while entering to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and carries out internal missions and abroad (Germany and France in particular). In the years 1950, it is named principal private secretary of the Prime Minister, first once for one short period (because of a change of government), the second time for two years. In 1947, the Prime Minister Manouchehr Eghbal appoints it President of the Economic council and Deputy Prime Minister. He also occupied of the stations to the Ministry of Labor, and the ministry for the Trade. The Deputy Prime Minister Asadollah Alam appointed it President of the insurance company Bimeh Iran .
Election in Majles and birth of the party Iran Novin
The party progressist Qānun Motaraghiān was founded by Mansour in order to undertake research in political economy, like paving the way with its ascencion towards the post of Prime Minister. In 1962, Mansour is presented for the 21e Majles (Parliament) and is elected second representative for Teheran, after Abdollah Riazi, spokesperson of Majles. A dozen members of its party were also elected, except for Hoveyda and of Kashefian, which was interested by the direction of the party. Mansour then extended its base by forming a coalition and by basing the party Iran Novin , with a majority of 175 seats on 230. He is then elected like representative of the majority of the Parliament.
Prime Minister during the white Revolution
After Alam resigned of the post of Prime Minister in 1963, the Shah appoints Mansour Prime Minister. This time corresponds then in Iran to a renewal of the political scene. Introduced Mansour of young faces like Amir Abbas Hoveyda, Jamshid Amouzegar, Ataollah Khosravani, Dr. Nahavandi, Alinaghi Alikhani, Manouchehr Rohani and other members of the party Iran Novin.Mansour made pass the Law of protection of the American forces, which was very discussed. Adoption of this law because an attack on behalf of the Ayatollah Khomeini since Qom. This attack of the government was punished by its exile in Turkey and because of the historical riots. Mansour also increased the price of the gasoline by 5 to 10 Rial S in order to balance its budget, but had to cancel measurement following the strikes of the taxi drivers.
Assassination
At ten o'clock in the morning, on January 22nd, 1965, Mansour was passing the grids of the Majles in order to go to deliver its first annual speech of Prime Minister. After it is gotten out of its car in the Baharestan park, a passer by, Mohammad Bokhari, the approach and draw 3 shots. Mansour is given in the car and brought to the hospital, where it remains in critical condition before dying 5 days later. During the crisis, the Shah appoints Amir Abbas Hoveyda Prime Minister, station which it was going to occupy during the thirteen next years.
Mansour was buried in the cemetery of Shah Abdol Azim with Rey. After the Islamic revolution, the Ayatollah Kalkhali would have ordered to disperse his remainders.
Mansour was married in Farideh Emami and had a son. The sister of Farideh, Leyla Emami, then married with the Hoveida Prime Minister. Javad Mansour, his/her brother, was to advise of Hoveida.
