Hasmik Papian
Hasmik Papian (in Armenian: hy ՀասմիկՊապյան), born in 1961 with Erevan, is a Soprano Arménie.
Biography
She studies the violin then the song with the academy Komitas d' Erevan. After its beginnings with the National Opera of Arménie, it is committed inter alia with the Opera of Bonn and Deutsche Oper amndt Rhein with Düsseldorf. Very quickly, it is invited by the most famous theaters of the whole world - inter alia: national Opera of Paris the Bastille, La Scala of Milan, Metropolitan Operated and Carnegie Hall of New York, Opéra of State of Vienna and Musikverein (Vienna), Wigmore Hall of London, Concertgebouw and De Nederlandse Opera Amsterdam, Opéra of Zurich, Deutsche Oper Berlin and Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin, the opera of states of Hamburg, Stuttgart, Munich and Semperoper of Dresden.Hasmik Papian also occurred with the Operas of Cologne, Essen, Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Geneva; Montpellier, Saint-Etienne, Toulon and Nice, Auditorium Maurice Ravel of Lyon, Festival of Carcassonne, Festival of Antibes, Paris Room Pleyel, Room Gaveau, Theater Mogador, Theater of the Fields-Élysées; Vlaamse Operated with Antwerp and Ghent, Royal Opéra of Wallonia; Theater Communal of Bologna, Massimo of Palermo, Accademia di Santa Cecilia with Rome, Festival of Ravenne; Teatro Real of Madrid and Maestranza of Seville; Wielki theater of Warsaw; Theater Mariinsky of Saint-Pétersbourg; New Israeli Operated Tel Aviv; UNESCO De luxe hotel of Beirut; New Tokyo Opera; National Operated Seoul; with Santiago of Chile, São Paulo and with the Mexico; in Canadian Company Toronto and with the Opera of Montreal Operated; Cincinnati Opera Festival, San Francisco Operated, Washington National Operated, Michigan Oper Détroit etc
Repertory
Its repertory extends from Donna Anna '' (Don Giovanni) '', Mathilde '' (Guillaume Tell) '' and Rachel '' (the Jewish one) '' with Mimì '' (the Bohemian one) '', Magda (the rondine) , the title role of Tosca , Suor Angelica and Mrs Butterfly , Margareta and Elena '' (Mefistofele) '' and LISA '' (the queen of spades) ''. Its repertory includes/understands many works verdiennes among which the traviata , Desdemona '' (Otello) '', Aïda , Leonora '' (It Trovatore '' and forza LED destino) , Elisabetta '' (Gift Carlos) '', Elena '' (I vespri siciliani) '', Amelia '' (Simon Boccanegra) '', Elvira '' (Ernani) '', Abigaïlle '' (Nabucco) '', Odabella '' (Attila) '' and the Requiem. Norma Bellini constitutes a central work for its career of which she sings the title role in particular with Vienna (Austria), Stuttgart and Mannheim, in Regio of Turin, with the Opéra of Montreal, Baltimore, Detroit, Denver and Washington DC, with the Opéra of Marseilles and the national Opera of Montpellier, with the Choregies d'Orange, the Festival of Luglio Trapanese (Sicily), with Rotterdam and the Nederlandse Opera Amsterdam. This last production was published on DVD at opus arte ; recently, another DVD is appeared at TDK: the queen of spades of the national Opera of Paris.In the field in the concert, the soprano Armenian has a vast repertory which extends from Bach, Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven ('' 9 {{E}} Symphonie '') and Rossini with Brahms, Fauré, Britten and Strauss. Contemporary type-setters like Kancheli, Kilar, Terterian and Mansurian belong to the repertory, as well as Khatchaturian. She sings Lied er of Schubert, Glinka, Tchaïkovski, Rachmaninov and Chostakovitch. Most of its recitals is devoted to the Armenian type-setters, in particular Komitas. With the pianist Vardan Mamikonian, it recorded a disc published recently under the title “Homage to Komitas” which contains 26 Armenian songs and nine songs on German poems of the founder of the Armenian modern classical music.

Hasmik Papian occurs under the direction of leaders as famous as Maurizio Arena, Jean-Claude Casadesus, Myung-Whun Chung, Valery Gergiev, Riccardo Muti, Michel Plasson, Georges Prêtre, Leonard Slatkin, James Conlon, Marcello Viotti, Ivor Bolton, Thomas Hengelbrock and well of others. It was named national Artiste (Joghovrdakan artistouhi) by the Republic of Arménie in 2004. In the same year, it to him was decreed the Order of Sourp Mesrop Mashtots of the hands of Catholicos Aram I. Patriarchate of Cilicie in Antélias. More recently, in July 2005, it received the Order of Sourps Sahak-Mashtots of the hands of Garéguine II, Catholicos of All the Armenians, with the principal seat of the Armenian apostolic Église Sainte Etchmiadzin.Hasmik Papian lives in Vienna in Austria.
