Hartwall Areena (also called Helsinki Areena or Helsingin Areena ) is a multifunction big room located at Helsinki in Finland. This room was used amongst other things to accommodate the Concours Eurovision of the song 2007 or the demonstration party Assembly in 2002 as well as many spectacles and concerts with great budgets. The Jokerit Helsinki, a club of Hockey of the city, has as a residence this room. It draws its name from a Finnish company of drinks based with Helsinki, Hartwall.
The project to build a theater with Helsinki is an idea of Harry Harkimo in 1994 in order to accommodate the Championnat of the world of hockey. The Hartwall Areena is inaugurated the April 11th 1997. The building has an oval form, its dimensions are of 153 meters length and 123 broad.
Its capacity is of 13.665 places for the matches of Hockey. The room is convertible for various events. The room is connected with a carpark which can contain 1.421 vehicles.
