Harry Van Barneveld

Harry Van Barneveld , born the February 18th 1967, is old a Belgian judoka . He gained the bronze medal in the category of the heavy truck to the Olympic Games of 1996 with Atlanta, the second Olympic reward obtained by a Belgian judoka after Robert Van de Walle. He was one of the large organizers of the international circuit in the years 1990 primarily in all categories where he has gained his single international championship in 1997. He however often went up on the podiums of the great competitions: its prize list thus posts two world medals and eleven European. Beaten in quarterfinals of the Olympic tournament with Sydney in 2000 by the French David Douillet, it puts an end to its sporting career.
