Harry Markowitz
Harry max Markowitz (born the August 24th 1927 with Chicago) is an American economist.
He was prize winner of the “Nobel Prize” of economy in 1990.
It is the author of the model of “efficient diversification” of the Portefeuille S of financial credit (see Portefeuille of Markowitz).
Markowitz developed the mathematical base and the consequences of this analysis in its thesis, constant in 1954. Milton Friedman, which belonged to the jury, would have declared to him: " Harry, this is not a thesis of economy, and we cannot give you a doctorate of economy for something which is not economy. They are not maths, it is not economy, it is not even gestion."
