Harry Hopman
Harry Hopman (born the August 12th 1906 with Glebe, Sydney - deceased the December 27th 1985) is a player of Tennis Australia N.
He played in the Années 1930, carrying out his best performances in the tests of double Sirs and double mixed.
He especially was the trainer of the team Australia nne of Coupe Davis, team which he carried out towards the victory to sixteen recoveries (1939, 1950-1953, 1955-1957, 1959-1962, 1964-1967).
To pay homage to him, a mixed test of double bears its name: the Hopman Cup.
To also note: it involved Maureen Connolly the year of sound Grand Slam in 1953.
Harry Hopman was the husband of Nell Hall, also tennis player with success.
