Harpsichordist

The harpsichordist is a Musicien which plays of the Clavecin. For the period baroque, the harpsichordists whose names arrived to us were also Compositeur S. the harpsichordist is in theory capable to interpret works on the others instruments with keyboard and cords pinches, the such Virginal. Certain harpsichordists also play of the Orgue (for example Gustav Leonhardt) or of the Piano-forte (for example Jos van Immerseel).

As any instrumentalist they generally teach in the schools and academies, private lessons, training courses etc, at the same time as they carry out their artistic career.
