Harold Clayton Lloyd (April 20th 1893 - March 8th 1971) is an American burlesque movie actor, very popular in the United States. With the difference of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton, her comic character is an young man rather balanced, integrated, romantic and hard worker.

Its most outstanding performance goes back to 1923, in the traditional one of the cinema dumb Burlesque Monte on top! ( Safety Last! ) realized by Fred C. Newmeyer and Sam Taylor, film where in a memorable scene, there remains suspended with the needles of a clock by climbing the frontage of a Gratte-ciel of Los Angeles.
