Harold Kay

Harold Kay is a radio operator organizer and French actor born the March 16th 1926 with Courbevoie and deceased the July 16th 1990 with Clamart, of an infectious complication which has occurred after a heart transplant.

Entered with Europe 1 in 1956, Harold Kay, of Scottish origin, had animated during more than thirty years of the radio game and variety programmes, in particular in company of Pierre Bellemare: 20 million cash (1976), the sisco (1978), tricolor the (1980), All for a (1982) or the large basket (1983) with Jacques and Jean-Paul Rouland and Jean-Marc Epinoux. In 1985, it ensures the animation of the morning section 5:00 - 7h. It had acquired a national notoriety by animating during the summer period the Podiums in the seaside resorts and at the stages of the Tour de France.

After a departure of Europe 1 in 1986, Harold Kay had been directed towards television: with TF1, it becomes the voice-over of the emission the fair price animated by max Meynier (1987, Sunday with 14:15) then by Patrick Roy (1988, each day with 12:30). At the beginning of the Years 1980, he is often the guest of the emissions: Sets of 20 hours animated by Maurice Favières, Main Capelo and Jean-Pierre Descombes (FR3) like the Academy of the nine animated by Jean-Pierre Foucault (Antenna 2).

As an actor, Harold Kay appeared in ten films or telefilms mainly at the beginning the Années 1960. But also in the years 1980: the blood of the others (1983) of Claude Chabrol with Jodie Foster or the cow-boy (1984) of Georges Lautner with Aldo Maccione
