Harold Abrahams

Harold Abrahams (born the December 15th 1899 with Bedford, Bedfordshire - died the January 14th 1978 with Enfield) was a British athlete , specialist in the sprint.

Harold Abrahams was the young brother of another British athlete, the long jumper Sidney Abrahams.

The history of its friendship with Eric Liddell is told in film of Hugh Hudson the Carriages of fire (1981).

He was the honorary president of the Association off Track & Field Statisticians as from 1950.
