Harlem Heat

Harlem Heat was a team of Catch made of two brothers, Booker and Lane Huffman. Booker Huffman took the name of boxing ring Booker T , and Lane Huffman that of Stevie Ray . As Harlem Heat, they gained a record of ten together WCW World Tag TEAM Championship.

The Ebony Experiment

Booker T and Stevie Ray began together equips some like The Huffman Brothers in the Western Wrestling Alliance from Ivan Putski after short a feud between one and the other. Harlem Heat

Booker and its brother Lane signed with the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) with the beginning of the year 1990.

In August 1993, they began in team under the name of Harlem Heat, with famous Booker for the occasion Kole and Lane famous Kane . They were announced of Harlem. They became heels and made team with Harley Race and coll Rob Parker with the War Games of Fall Brawl on September 19th, 1993, against Sting, Davey Boy Smith, Dustin Rhodos, and The Shockmaster. They lost the match but were put ultra ahead as a heels considering the gauge of the faces which they faced

Sister Sherri started to manage the team in 1994 whereas according to their request they changed their name into Booker T and Stevie Ray . At the end of 1994, they were already champions by team, having overcome Stars “Stripes (The Patriot and Marcus Alexander Bagwell) in December, for a reign which will last five months. This was their first of the 10 reigns which they had together on WCW World Tag TEAM Championship.

After having given up the belts against Nasty Servant boys, Harlem Heat recovered them on June 24th, 1995. Harlem Heat then tie-beam in feud with the " Stud Stable" of coll Parker made up of " Dirty" Dick Slater and Bunkhouse Buck. Parker and Sherri fell in love one with the other and Parker finally left Stud Stable in favor it Heat to be with Sherri. Harlem Heat gained the championships by team of the WCW with Fall Brawl 1995, leaf Dick Slater and Bunkhouse Buck. Their third reign lasted only one day, but the duet recovered nine days plus the titles of the American Males (Marcus Alexander Bagwell and Scotty Riggs). June 24th, 1996 with Nitro, Harlem Heat beat Lex Luger and Sting to gain for the fifth time the titles by team. Before beating Luger for the titles, Booker packed during an interview, being addressed to Luger and Hulk Hogan, saying to this last " Hulk Hogan, we comin' for you, nigga! " Three days after having lost the titles against the Steiner Brothers, Harlem Heat took its revenge by beating Steiners on July 27th, 1996. September 23rd, 1996 Booker T and Stevie Ray were beaten by the Public Enemy (Rocco Rock & Johnny Grunge) but recovered els titles for the seventh time on October 1st, 1996.

After the loss of their seventh title per team of the WCW against the Outsiders (Kevin Nash & Scott Hall) on October 27th, 1996, they became faces when they transfered coll Parker and tabassait it. They briefly competed against the new team of Parker, The Amazing French Canadians, a feud which they gained. In 1997 they competed with Public Enemy, The Steiners, and the nWo. At the end of 1997, they transfered Sherri and took a news manager, Jacqueline. They were briefly put out of action by the nWo but returned to compete with the " Faces off Fear " (Meng & The Barbarian). Stevie took then five months of rest of the WCW to recover of one wound with ankle and Jacqueline it from went away for WWF whereas Booker benefitted from it to move to make the competition in solo. Booker succeeded in gaining WCW World Television Championship during the absence of Stevie. At the time of its return to the WCW, Stevie Ray was turned over against his/her brother and united with the New World Order.

With semi-1999, Booker was able to convince his/her brother to leave the nWo and to reform Harlem Heat once more. Both beat Bam Bam Bigelow and Kanyon for the titles by team of the WCW at the time of Road Wild before perdres against Barry and Kendall Windham. Harlem Heat beat them one month later with Fall Brawl 1999 to recover the titles.

When the Filthy Animals were seen withdrawn the titles by team following a wound of Rey Mysterio Jr., the title was given concerned in a three-way dance to Halloween Havoc 1999. Harlem Heat took down for the tenth time the titles by team of the WCW by beating members of the The First Family (Hugh Morrus and Brian Knobbs) and Filthy Animals (Konnan & Kidman).

Harlem Heat 2000

At the end of 1999, bodybuildeuse of the name of Midnight united Harlem Heat. Whereas Booker T liked this addition, Stevie Ray négligiait its assistance and started to dispute with Booker. Stevie defied finally Midnight with a match which would decide if it forms part or not of Harlem Heat. After beatbeing beaten with one surprising small package, Stevie Ray was turned over against Booker and Midnight. Thereafter it formed Harlem Heat, Inc. with Big T, Kash and J. Biggs. Stevie Ray and Big T were called themselves Harlem Heat 2000. For this period, Booker Huffman was quite simply referred comme' Booker' . Harlem Heat 2000 gained the rights on the name Harlem Heat when Big T beat Booker the February 20th 2000 with SuperBrawl 2000. Kidman and Booker T beat Harlem Heat 2000 (Stevie Ray and Big T) with Uncensored 2000.
