Haren (Groningue)

Haren is a municipality in the province of Groningue, with the Netherlands. It has 19 000 inhabitants on a surface of 50 km ².
Haren is a very rich municipality. Many the professors of the university of Groningue live here. Around the village of Haren there are other villages, like Onnen, Glimmen and Noordlaren. The town of Groningue and Haren form an agglomeration.
Haren is located beside the highway A28 (Groningue- Zwolle - Utrecht). In Haren, there is a station, with two trains per hour in direction of Groningue and Zwolle.
