Hardware Forces Magazine

Hard Forces is a French musical magazine specialized in the hard rock and the heavy metal, published between 1985 and 2000. Initially founded by the HARDWARE ASSOCIATION FORCES as fanzine (of which the members are then Serge Lamet, Christian Lamet, Jean de Larquier, Philippe Marek, Daniel Baud), its first number leaves in October 1985, diffused with 1500 specimens thanks to a friendly network of sale. In less than one year, the qualitative requirements in the content and the form of some of its creators push the fanzine with a professional formula magazine in the kiosks. It positions very quickly like an outsider of Hard rock Magazine, launched one year earlier, while benefitting from the disappearance of Hell Magazine and Attack Metal. During 15 years, he will be recognized in France like the magazine reference frame in terms of originality, files and interviews and precursor in the majority of his initiatives (creation of samplers, multi-media Romanian CD, first headings Internet of the French musical press, files new, exhaustive discographies and biographies).
