Harbor office

The general Capitainerie is the name given in Spain to some Circonscription S territorial, which correspond to our military divisions, and which are controlled by a general captain. One should not confuse these chiefs with the intendants or civil governors of the provinces. Spain since 1833 was 1833 divided into 12 general harbor offices, knowledge: News and Old Castille, Galicia, Estramadure, Andalusia, Grenade, Valence, Catalonia, Aragon, Navarre, Guipuscoa and Majorque, which themselves are subdivided in provinces.
