Harbor City
Harbor City is a district of Los Angeles, California. With the census of 2000, it had a total population of 24.640 inhabitants. Harbor City belongs to the port area of Los Angeles. The parts of the neighbouring district Torrance and Palos Verdes accommodate suburbs of the middle-classes whereas the remainder of the district, in particular those bordered by Lomita Boulevard and the Pacific Coast Highway in north and by the Normandy avenues and Vernont in the east and the west, are very poor.
An alligator called " Reggie" was discovered in the community, in Machado Lake.
