Harald IV of Norway

Harald IV Gillechrist ( Servant of Christ ) (towards 1100 - 1136) king of Norway of 1130 with 1136.

However, as of the death of Sigurd Ier, it obliges Magnus IV of Norway to divide the country with him the October 3rd 1130. Overcome with the combat of Fyrleiv the August 10th 1134, it must be withdrawn in Denmark where it obtains the support of the king Eric II of Denmark Emune.

Harald IV invades Norway then, it seizes Bergen and makes plug and lock up in a monastery Magnus IV of Norway.

Another alleged son of Magnus III, Sigurd Slembedjakn arrived him also of the islands of the west, then asks him to divide the throne with him. Seeing itself pushing back, this last kills the king Harald IV during his sleep the December 14th 1136.

Harald IV had married a Swedish princess, Ingrid Rögnvaldsdotter of which it had a son considered as his only legitimate child, the future king Inge I {{er}} of Norway
