Harald III of Denmark

Harald III Hen (1041 - April 17th 1080) was King Denmark of 1076 with 1080. Harald III was the bastard son of Sven II of Denmark.

It was named after a regular election on the northern coast of Sjælland. Broadly it seems to have been leading peaceful and able which sought to improve the Danish Monnaie. Some Historian S Medieval, in particular Sax Grammaticus, depict it like a weak and ineffective monarch yielding vis-a-vis the will of the people. Thereafter the historians rather regard it as a monarch " " Democratic " for the same reasons.

Its nickname means " a stone to sharpen tendre".
