Happy Romeo

Romeo was a brother convers (who devotes himself to manual work) monastery of Limoges. It tried to go in Holy Land with the priest Avertain (of the same monastery). They have both contracted the Peste and died with Lucques, in Toscane. They had beautiful funeral. Avertain was canonized, and Romeo was béatifié.

Romeo means “pilgrim Rome”.
