Happy Gaspard of the Turn-Châtillon of Zurlauben

Happy Gaspard of the Turn-Châtillon of Zurlauben , nephew of Conrad of the Turn-Châtillon of Zurlauben, and oldest son of Happy Jacques I {{er}} of the Turn-Châtillon of Zurlauben, having initially been useful in Savoy, was named governor of the Province of Silk, and in 1683, was created knight of the orders of Saint-Maurice and Saint-Lazare. Since, it left the service of Savoy to follow in its fatherland the administrative career; it was, in 1695, Landamman or chief of the canton. It renewed alliance with the bishop of Basle and with the Canton of Were worth. Louis XIV named it Chevalier of Saint-Michel. The emperor Léopold having, in 1701, high Placid of the Turn-Châtillon of Zurlauben, brother of Happy-Gaspard, with the dignity of prince of the Empire, this one was named hereditary marshal of the Abbaye of Matured. Happy-Gaspard died in Zug, the May 12th 1706, without leaving male heirs.
