Beat Breu is an old runner cyclist Suisse, born the October 23rd 1957 with Saint-Gall.

He will become professional in 1979 and until in 1996 will remain it. It will gain 42 victories.

It took part in 8 Tours of France and was classified: 6th in 1982, 22e in 1983, 43e in 1984, 23e in 1985, 74e in 1986, 26e in 1987, 21e in 1989 and 42e in 1990.

In the Tour de France 1982, it will gain the 13th stage between Pau and Saint-Lary-Soulan and the 16th stage between Orcières-Merlette and Alpe d' Huez.

It also gains the Tour of Switzerland 1981 and 1989.

It takes part in multiple cyclo-cross and by 2 times, in 1988 and 1994, he is Champion of Switzerland of the discipline.
