Haplogroupe C (Y-ADN)

In Genetic human, the Haplogroupe C (M130) is a haplogroupes Y chromosome. The haplogroupe it is the " cousin" Haplogroupe B and the " frère" Haplogroupe F. It represents the costal migration of the first Homo-sapiens of Africa towards Asia.

This haplogroupe would have appeared at least 60.000 years ago. It is typical populations of Mongolia, Polynésie, Australia, India and the Eastern part of the Russia.

One also finds it in certain areas of Central Asia. This presence is explained by the Mongolian migrations inside the empire of Gengis Khan.
