Hanzel Und Gretyl

Hanzel Und Gretyl is an American group of industrial Metal founded in 1993 by Kaiser Von Loopy and Vas Kallas. Sharing a vision of the world dominated by rise to power of the machines and by giving each other the means of giving to this vision sound-clean, they crééent the concept of Hanzel Und Gretyl which they will name " Futuristic, post-apocalyptic and fairy tale extraterrestrial allemand".
Souvent regarded wrongly as being a German group because of their intensive use of this language in their words, Hanzel Und Gretyl is in fact an American group originating in New York.

Biography

1993 - 1996

After their formation in 1993 and the installation of their concept, Hanzel und Gretyl will leave in 1995 its first album, Ausgeflippt , on the label Energy Records. The album will receive excellent criticisms on behalf of the American press and the individual Shine 2001 will reach to it first place of the " ALTERNATIVE CLOSE Dance Chart" with the the United States. Thanks to criticisms positive, Marilyn Manson will notice the group and its concerts in support with Clutch in 1995 then directly in 1996 will propose to them to open.

1997 - 2001

In 1997, Tramission From Uranus , the second album, will be published and the first round at the head of poster of Hanzel und Gretyl will be organized as well as rounds in opening of Prong, Slipknot and Rob Halford. This year will be important for Hanzel und Gretyl; The title 9D Galactic Center of the album Ausgeflippt will be selected for the Original soundtrack Film Mortal Kombat, destruction final and Hanzel ung Gretyl will play at the time of the " MTV Music Awards " of 1997.
In 1998, Hanzel und Gretyl will play with Rammstein at the time of the CMJ Festival of New York to the the United States then will open for them at the time of their turned permière American.

2002

In 2002, Hanzel und Gretyl will be found except contract, will recover all its rights following closing of the label Energy Records and will sign with the label Metropolis Records.

2003

2003 will mark the exit of the third album, Uber Alles . This album will again receive excellent criticisms on behalf of the American media , receiving even a " 4 étoiles" in Kerrang Magazine. Hanzel und Gretyl will recruit Anna K. and Jon Osterman to support them at the time of their services in concert. Hanzel und Gretyl will play in opening at the time of the round of Genitorturers.

2004 - 2005

Scheissmessiah , the fourth album, will leave in 2004. It will be selected in the " Hot topics" ITunes Music Store what will enable him to have a distribution definitely more important. It will be noted, by the fans of industrial Metal, like an essential album and on the same level as Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM or Ministry by " Revolver! Magazine". Mark Barker of Ministry will join the team of Hanzel und Gretyl after the round.

2006

Into 2006, they will change management for " Dark Moon Entertainment" and will enter in studio to leave mini CD, Oktotenfest 2006 in support of their round at the head of poster " Oktotenfest 2006 festival tour" and with Dead like support Bleated.
